Cinnamon Kissed Cheesecake Donut Cookies

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking.
  2. Prepare the Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon until well combined.
  3. Cream the Butter and Cream Cheese
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, cream cheese, and sugar together using an electric mixer until light, fluffy, and creamy.
  4. Add Egg and Vanilla
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth and fully incorporated.
  5. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms. Avoid overmixing so the cookies stay tender.
  6. Prepare the Cinnamon Sugar
In a small bowl, mix the ¼ cup sugar with 1 teaspoon cinnamon to create the coating.
  7. Shape the Cookies
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. Roll each dough ball in the cinnamon sugar mixture until fully coated.
  8. Arrange on Baking Sheet
Place the dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches (5 cm) apart.
  9. Bake the Cookies
Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden while the centers remain soft.
  10. Cool and Serve
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack. Serve slightly warm for the best donut-like texture.
