Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla together until the mixture becomes light and fluffy.
- Add the oil and milk, then mix well to combine.
- Sift in the cocoa powder and stir until smooth and evenly blended.
- Finally, add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix gently until you have a smooth batter — don’t overmix.
- Grease a loaf pan (or line it with parchment paper).
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 35–40 minutes.
Tip: Insert a knife or toothpick in the center — if it comes out clean, your cake is done. - Let it cool completely before serving.
Optional:
- Top with melted chocolate for a rich finish.
- Or simply dust with cocoa powder or powdered sugar for a classic touch.
Extra Tips
- For a moister cake, add 2 tbsp of yogurt or 1 tbsp of melted butter to the batter.
- You can also mix in chocolate chips or a handful of crushed nuts for texture.
- This recipe works great for cupcakes too — just reduce the baking time to 20–25 minutes.
