Cajun Steak Alfredo

Directions

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup pasta water.

Step 2: Prepare the Steak

Pat the steak slices dry and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices for 2–3 minutes per side until browned and cooked to desired doneness. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Step 3: Make the Alfredo Sauce

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30–60 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 4: Combine Steak and Pasta

Return the cooked steak to the skillet, stirring to coat in the Alfredo sauce. Add the cooked pasta and toss until evenly coated. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach desired consistency.

Step 5: Serve

Plate the Cajun Steak Alfredo and garnish with chopped parsley or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for extra heat. Serve immediately while warm.
