Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to package directions until al dente. Reserve ½ cup (120 ml) of pasta water before draining. - Season the Protein
In a bowl, toss the shrimp and sliced steak with Cajun seasoning, paprika, and black pepper until evenly coated. - Cook the Steak
Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the steak strips and cook for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked to your preference. Remove from the skillet and set aside. - Cook the Shrimp
Add the remaining olive oil to the skillet. Cook the shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak. - Prepare the Alfredo Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Melt butter in the same skillet, then add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. - Build the Creamy Sauce
Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes, then add Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. - Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat evenly. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water. - Add the Steak and Shrimp
Return the cooked steak and shrimp to the skillet and gently mix everything together so the pasta absorbs the creamy Cajun flavors. - Garnish and Serve
Top with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan cheese before serving.
