Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a thin coating of oil.
- For even cooking, gently flatten the chicken breasts to about 1-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
- In a bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing and sour cream if using.
- Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish. Top each breast with 1/4 cup (25 g) of Parmesan cheese.
- Pour the Caesar dressing mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure each piece is coated. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top for a golden crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C) and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
