Caesar Chicken

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or a thin coating of oil.
  2. For even cooking, gently flatten the chicken breasts to about 1-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together Caesar dressing and sour cream if using.
  4. Season each chicken breast with salt and pepper on both sides.
  5. Place the chicken in the prepared baking dish. Top each breast with 1/4 cup (25 g) of Parmesan cheese.
  6. Pour the Caesar dressing mixture evenly over the chicken breasts, making sure each piece is coated. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top for a golden crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F / 74°C) and the top is lightly golden.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
