Biscuits and Gravy Casserole

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and cooked through.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk together the gravy mix and 1 cup of water until smooth.
  4. Add the gravy to the skillet and stir to combine with the sausage. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and fully combined.
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  7. Spread the sausage gravy mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  8. Pour the egg mixture over the top of the sausage and gravy.
  9. Arrange the biscuits on top of the egg mixture.
  10. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the biscuits are golden brown and the eggs are set.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
