Instructions
- Preheat oven. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the beef. In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with a small dab of butter or margarine. Crumble well as it cooks until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
- Mix in flavorings. Add Thousand Island dressing, mayonnaise, diced onion, diced dill pickle, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
- Layer the casserole. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
- Bake. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
- Add finishing touches. Remove from oven and sprinkle shredded iceberg lettuce evenly over the top. Drizzle with additional Thousand Island dressing.
- Serve. Slice into portions and enjoy this Big Mac-inspired comfort feast with your family or friends.
