Big Mac Tater Tot Casserole

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven. Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the beef. In a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef with a small dab of butter or margarine. Crumble well as it cooks until fully browned. Drain excess grease.
  3. Mix in flavorings. Add Thousand Island dressing, mayonnaise, diced onion, diced dill pickle, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is thoroughly combined.
  4. Layer the casserole. Spread the beef mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese.
  5. Bake. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
  6. Add finishing touches. Remove from oven and sprinkle shredded iceberg lettuce evenly over the top. Drizzle with additional Thousand Island dressing.
  7. Serve. Slice into portions and enjoy this Big Mac-inspired comfort feast with your family or friends.
