Beef Cheese Burger Recipe

Instructions

  1. Preheat a grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until evenly combined—avoid over-mixing.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into 1-inch thick patties. Press a slight indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb for even cooking.
  4. Grill or cook the patties for 4–5 minutes per side, or until they reach your preferred doneness. Toast the buns for 1–2 minutes if desired.
  5. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt slightly.
  6. Assemble the burgers: Layer lettuce on the bottom bun, add the patty with melted cheese, then tomato, pickles, and condiments. Top with the other half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy your delicious homemade beef cheeseburgers!
