Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with foil.
- Slice the Hawaiian rolls in half horizontally, keeping each half connected as one sheet. Place the bottom half into the baking dish.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined plate, then crumble once cooled.
- In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain the excess grease.
- Season the cooked beef with salt, pepper, and dry mustard. Add the shredded cheddar and stir until just softened.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly over the bottom rolls. Sprinkle crumbled bacon over the top.
- Layer the slices of cheddar cheese on top, then place the top half of the rolls back on.
- Mix the melted butter with brown sugar, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic. Brush or spoon this glaze generously over the tops of the rolls.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until the cheese melts and the buns are lightly toasted.
- Slice neatly with a serrated knife or pull apart and serve warm.
