Boston Cream Cupcakes

Ingredients:

For the Cupcakes:
  • – 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • – 1 cup granulated sugar
  • – 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • – 1 tsp baking powder
  • – 3/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • – 3 large egg whites
  • – 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • – 1/2 cup sour cream
  • – 1/2 cup whole milk
For the Filling:
  • – 1 cup heavy cream
  • – 2 large egg yolks
  • – 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • – 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • – 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
