Ingredients

  • 115 g (½ cup) unsalted butter, softened

  • 120 ml (½ cup) buttermilk
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) white vinegar
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) red food coloring

Cheesecake Filling:

  • 450 g (16 oz / 2 cups) cream cheese, softened
  • 100 g (½ cup) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 5 ml (1 tsp) vanilla extract

Strawberry Topping:

  • 200 g (1½ cups) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 25 g (2 tbsp) granulated sugar
  • Optional: strawberry glaze for shine
