Ingredients

For the filling:

• 1/2 kg (1.1 lb) ground beef
• 1 can (400 g / 14 oz) chopped tomatoes
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 large white onion, chopped
• 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
• 3 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
• 1/4 cup (40 g) chopped olives
• Salt, to taste
• Black pepper, to taste
• 1 tsp paprika
• 1/2 tsp oregano
• 1/2 tsp ground cumin

For the empanadas:

• 12 empanada covers (store-bought or homemade)
• 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil, for greasing the baking tray
