Ingredients

  • 12 thick Richmond sausages
  • 250 g (1 tub) mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 500 g (about 4 medium) carrots, chopped
  • 1 (400 g / 14 oz) tin chopped tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato purée
  • 1–2 teaspoons paprika, to taste
  • 1–2 Aldi sausage casserole seasoning sachets (optional, for extra flavor)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 red bell pepper, chopped
